Wet week ahead
Mild temperatures with rain chances through the week

(April 28, 2014) – A low pressure center off to the west will be moving a warm front into the County Warning Area(CWA) today. This will bring a chance for rain showers and thunderstorms with any chance for severe weather limited to the far southwestern part of the CWA. Temperatures will be mild today with highs ranging from the lower 50s in the northeast to the middle 60s in the southwest. Windy today with an east wind at around 20 mph.

The thunderstorm and shower chances continue into tonight with the precipitation chances hanging around throughout the week. Any severe weather chances are expected to be confined to the far southwestern part of the CWA with large hail and damaging winds the main threats-although an isolated tornado is possible. There is a chance for some severe weather also on Tuesday.
