O’Donnell’s easy-going, entertaining on-stage personality makes each live show an exciting event as he sings, dances and charms his way into his audience’s hearts! O’Donnell will mix it up a bit by sharing seldom-heard Irish renditions of “Distant Drums” and “Farside Banks of Jordan,” two songs selected from his new PBS TV special. Of course O’Donnell never forgets to perform his fans’ favorites like the uplifting “Stand Beside Me” and “Our House Is a Home” and the song he always ends his concerts with, “How Great Thou Art.”

O’Donnell will interact with his audience in his original and engaging way, and always gets his audience singing, clapping and tapping their toes as he dances on stage! When the charming and talented Mary Duff joins him for a few duets, their friendship can be felt by everyone in the audience!

After rising to public attention in 1983, the multi-talented, Irish-born performer has starred in 13 national PBS television specials and has sold more than 12 million CDs and DVDs worldwide. O’Donnell has become a household name in Ireland, the UK , the US and Australia. In 2012, he became the first artist to have a different album on the UK charts every year for 26 consecutive years. Daniel O’Donnell’s 11th PBS national television special, “Daniel O’Donnell From the Heartland,” premiered on PBS March 2013.

O’Donnells worldwide success is a far cry from the day he used his own savings to record and release his first song more than 25 years ago. The singer’s life is a fascinating tale of humble beginnings and a journey to musical success.
