You can kick off your day by getting in the zone, the Pumpkin Zone that is! The Botanical Conservatory, will offer activities like pumpkin putt-putt and pumpkin seed tasting beginning at 10am.

It wouldn’t be a Fright Night without zombies. Things will start to get creepy on the Library Plaza when Downtown Improvement District’s Zombie Machine begins cranking out the undead at 2pm culminating with a crawl along Wayne, Calhoun, Columbia and Harrison streets. While you wait to get your zombie on you can give a little blood of your own to the Red Cross Blood Mobile, munch on some food truck faire or practice your best zombie walk.

If you find zombies a little too ghoulish come inside! The Allen County Public library provides some Not So Frightening Fun and Halloween Button Making, while the Community Center keeps the ball rolling with pumpkin bowling, corn hole and other fun games. Our favorite family-friendly evening activities return with live music and a scavenger hunt at Parkview Field, the Ghostly Gala at the Grand Wayne, a bonfire at the Marriot and of course the Braineater’s Ball at Cinema Center!

Feeling a little haunted as the evening rolls in? The Fort Wayne Dance Collective presents its fifth annual Halloween concert, Into the Dark(ness). A dance concert to chill your bones! Get on the move and hunt for the Embassy ghost, take a haunted tour with ARCH or keep your eye out for the headless horseman by lamplight at the Old Fort. The Embassy will be showing 1925 classic, The Phantom of the Opera with Dennis James on the Grande Page Theatre Pipe Organ for their silent film of the evening.

Looking for a little bit more grown up fun? Stop out to do the Time Warp again at the Rocky Horror Picture show at 9:15p. Cinema Center will also be screening the local contemporary horror film Phantom of the Woods and A Better Fort’s Zombie Prom will run until 2am at the Thirsty Camel with some scary good drink specials.

If all that limping, groaning and searching for brains has you worn out you can hop a CTN Spooky Shuttle to get to your destination from various downtown locations running from 2-5pm. Our terrifying trolley service will continue to connect you from 6-11pm

Fright Night is a downtown event with various activities for ALL AGES! Some activities have a small admission price and others are FREE. Pick up a copy of the official Fright Night Event Map at the Embassy Box office or the Allen County Public Library downtown beginning October 7th and get all the gory details right now at www.frightnightdowntown.com.
