News release from the Haley 4 Mayor campaign:
Independent Mayoral Candidate Haley Ahrendt’s campaign expenditure report
The Independent Candidate for Mayor, City of Fort Wayne, Haley Ahrendt, will submit his campaign financial report to the Board of Election Friday morning at 10 am. Directly after that he will be casting his vote utilizing the early voting system at 1 W. Superior St.
Challengers also seeking the Mayor’s office from the Republican and Democratic parties have spent an estimated 1.5 million dollars in this election. Haley Ahrendt came in under budget only spending $170.91 of his $200 budget.
“I was a little worried that I would go over the two hundred dollars. If I had gone over, I would have changed the terminology to say that my campaign budget was “flat”, close enough”.
“I do not anticipate spending any more money on the campaign in the last two weeks before the election”.
“I’m concentrating still on just meeting as many people as I can before the election”.
“Of course I’m looking forward to Fort Wayne’s two largest upcoming debates”.
The first debate is on October 29th (Minster Alliance and Urban League) at 3pm at the safety academy.
Then on November 1st Fort Wayne’s largest and most watched Mayoral Debate on WANE 15 televised live at 7pm from the Auer Auditorium at the Rhinehart Music center at IPFW. It is also streamed live via their website wane.com
Both events are free and open to the public.
