According to Jerry Vandeveer:
Although the Law Enforcement/Firefighter’s Memorial has not yet been dedicated, the Board of Directors has decided to address the rash of fatalities experienced by the Law Enforcement Community in the United States and specifically Indianapolis by raising the American Flag above the Law Enforcement Monument and then lowering it to half-staff in honor of Officer David Moore of Indianapolis. The flag will remain there until the burial of Officer Moore has been completed which will occur on Tuesday.
