Possible new format coming

A new look and format might be coming to AroundFortWayne this week.

I say ‘might be’ because there are several parts to this that would need to come together very quickly to make it work.  I have finally settled on a new theme for the blog and now comes the tricky part of shifting everything over.

One of the things I like about the new format is that it will allow me to highlight content that has been created by myself.  The slight majority of what is posted here are press releases and announcements from a myriad of sources.  There is a good portion that is created by myself, in the form of videos and photos and hopefully this new format will allow me to highlight it easier.

Another new feature will be better navigation through topics you might be interested in.  For instance, if you’re looking for information on Community Calendar type items, it will be easier to locate those related posts.

So, if you’re trying to access the blog and the page you download looks a little weird, give it some time and it will right itself. Mainly, this will be occurring during the overnight hours. I will try to post something before the final rollover as the blog will probably be off-line during that time period.

I appreciate all of you who visit this site on a daily basis! Traffic counts have increased beyond my wildest dreams and it appears there’s no slowing down. Thank you to all!
