Today at noon at the Allen County Courthouse, newly elected County and Township officials from Allen County, as well as those who were re-elected in the November General Election will be taking their oath of office.
The ceremony will be in the rotunda and start at noon. Â It is open to the public. Â Those taking the oath of office:

- John McGauley, Recorder
- Kenneth Fries, Sheriff
- Stacey O’Day, Assessor
- Therese Brown and Linda Bloom, County Commissioners
- Kevin Howell, Tom Harris, Darren Vogt and Larry Brown, County Council
- Bev Zuber, Wayne Township Assessor
- David Avery and Nancy Boyer, Superior Court Civil Judges
- Charles Pratt, Superior Court Family Judge
