CANI Golf 2010 takes a swing at poverty

(July 15, 2010) – CANI (Community Action of Northeast Indiana) held its eighth annual golf outing fundraiser on June 10, 2010.

Superb weather was the icing on the cake as more than 70 participants enjoyed a day of golf, food, fun, and prizes at Noble Hawk Golf Links in Kendallville. About $17,500 was raised at CANI Golf 2010?funds used to help needy families in northeast Indiana.

The CANI Golf 2010 Champion team was Christopher Sosebee, Kevin Kreilach, Kyle Baltes, and Josh Neal. All were winners when the golfers united at the end of the day for a delicious steak dinner (steaks provided by Performance Food Group), silent auction, and awards ceremony.
