Press release from SeniorCare Products:

Local non-profit founded to reduce costs of medical supplies

Anne Marie Labenberg and Jonathan Kratzer have founded Senior Care Products, Inc. a non-profit medical service supply company that focuses on reducing the costs of medical supplies for disabled individuals in the Fort Wayne area.

Senior Care Products will work with the clients to find affordable services and supplies, without compromising quality and safety. The objective is to reduce costs for the client, so that he or she will not have to sacrifice quality in-home care. In effect this product can help them stretch health care dollars so that he or she may remain in the comfort of home for as long as possible.

To that end, the company will acquire gently used items, i.e. wheelchairs, which can be re-used for the benefit of an ailing or disabled client. Individuals and companies can donate items that otherwise might go to waste.

“Senior Care Products is a new and “green” way to help individuals save money,” said co-founder Anne Marie Labenberg. “We are always looking for ways to ease the financial burdens for our clients, and this is an innovative approach to that issue.”

Senior Care Products also offers Personal Emergency Response Systems at a low cost rate to provide peace of mind for family members of those who may be at risk for falls or other health related emergencies.
