Parkview Women’s & Children’s Hospital welcomes first baby to be born at hospital in 2010

Parkview’s Women’s & Children’s Hospital on the Parkview North campus today welcomed the first baby to be born at the facility in 2010.

Baby boy Conner Green was born at 1:30 p.m. and weighed seven pounds and nine ounces. The proud parents are Corey and Kayla Green of Columbia City.

The Women’s & Children’s Hospital is home to a newborn intensive care unit (NICU) with all private rooms for newborns and parents. Additional amenities include 24 mother and baby rooms, 16 labor/delivery/recovery rooms, quiet room, den with fireplace, free Wi-fi, Starbucks® coffee café with snack/meal items and pastries, and a portrait studio. An outside courtyard provides patients, families and guests with a relaxing area to enjoy during their stay.
