Rediscover your own backyard during the 11th annual Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown
celebration – hosted by the Fort Wayne/Allen County Convention and Visitors Bureau – today, from 12 noon – 5 pm. On this day Fort Wayne residents with a Be a Tourist in Your
Own Hometown passport will be able to visit 10 area attractions and museums – FOR FREE!

Passports provide free admission to 10 of Fort Wayne’s attractions, including the African/African-
American History Museum, Allen County Courthouse, Artlink, Embassy Theatre, Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, Fort Wayne Museum of Art (at the Allen County Courthouse), Historic Fort Wayne, History Center, Science Central, and The Lincoln Tower.

Passport holders will receive free admission to these participating venues! Passports may be picked up at any Fort Wayne Scott’s location and at the Convention and Visitors Bureau Visitors Center – located
downtown at 1021 S. Calhoun Street. A one-sheet printable passport can also be downloaded.

“It is a great opportunity to see everything that Fort Wayne has to offer,” explains Dan O’Connell,
President of the Convention and Visitors Bureau. “And in turn, they can become better ambassadors for their community, as they become more familiar with all there is to do as a tourist in Fort Wayne!”
