City Council meeting – 1/20/2009

The Fort Wayne City Council

The Fort Wayne City Council does meet this evening at 5:30 pm in the Council Chambers on the first floor of the City-County building.  An agenda has not been uploaded yet, however, if you look through the items introduced last week, it should give you an idea of what will be discussed.  Tonight is a Committee Session only night.  

City Council will vote on approvals of their various appointments to City Boards and Commissions.  The one to watch is the Citilink Board, to which I understand Councilman Mitch Harper has a suggested candidate to replace Fred Lanahan.  It will also be interesting to see if the Administration has an official response or comment to Harper’s ordinance requiring monthly financial statements be provided to the City Council.  I have busy days scheduled today and tomorrow, so I may be delayed in posting coverage.  I will do my best to have it up by Thursday.
