Technical difficulties… UPDATED

UPDATE @ 8:56 pm – I have just been told the behind-the-scenes changes will take place some time tomorrow.  I’m hoping in the afternoon, way before 5 pm so I will be able to attend the City Council meeting.  In the event the timing doesn’t go as planned, which at this point wouldn’t surprise me, in fact, I’ll be more surprised if this comes off without more hassle, give it some time and the site will be up as soon as possible.

The technical difficulties continue.  Urrrgh!  As you may know, I had planned to consolidate the aroundfortwayne.com and aroundfortwayne.com sites onto one server.  I made a request to cancel the .com server at the end of the contract, the 27th of this month.  Instead, that company decided to do it early creating all kinds of problems for me.  For some reason, we are having problems getting the aroundfortwayne.com to go to the appropriate DNS server (all geekspeak and my apologies for this).  Hopefully, once this DNS problem is corrected, I will have access to my regular website email.  In the meantime, you may reach me at the email address at the bottom of this page.

So, I am writing this to let you know if you are unable to access this blog, don’t give up.  Once the settings and a couple of other things are changed, I will have to do some behind the scenes stuff with the blog to get it back up to speed.  Be patient!
