Just to let everyone know, I am currently dealing with a health issue that precludes me from posting. Believe me, I’d rather be puttering around the blogosphere than doing what I’m doing. So, if you don’t see a post for a few days at a time, don’t fret, I’ll be back as soon as possible! Thanks for your understanding and if I’m able, I’ll post as possible. When everything is back to normal, I’ll have some interesting stories to share from an uninsured sick person point of view.

Thanks to all for the kindness! It’s appreciated. It looks like it’ll be hit and miss the rest of this week, and any further action on solving my condition will probably wait until Monday. Urrgh! Right now, I’m feeling good – hopefully that will hold out through the weekend. Thanks again!

I missed you at the Council session this week. I hope you were able to take notice that I introduced the “Stephen Parker” amendment to the Tax Abatement bill.
While adding “Gambling or gaming facility” met with generally positive approval – Council member Pape asked that it be brought back with a more detailed description of gambling or gaming facility.
You may wish to look at the City Council video to find my reference to citizen Stephen Parker during the discussion.
