Hurricane Ike Passes Through Downtown

Tonight, shortly before sunset, there were some brilliant clouds passing over the downtown Fort Wayne area.  Unfortunately, by the time I finished up what I was doing and made it to the roof, the beautiful parts had already passed.  If you look at the above photo, they are in the background, the purple-orange shading.  From my vantage point, I was in the middle of a clearing with clouds streaming by to the East and West of my position.  By the time the sun set, clouds were again everywhere.  Luckily, Ike fizzled before reaching our area, and we saw nowhere near the amounts of rainfall they had been predicting.  Full photo set.
