The Indiana Department of Transportation announces alternating lane closures on I-69 in Fort Wayne.

There are several upcoming projects that will require lane restrictions and closures throughout Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Traffic Alert: Friday lane restrictions on West Washington Boulevard
Beginning at 8:00 am, Friday, August 29, 2025, crews will work to repair a leaking water main on West Washington Boulevard between Calhoun and Clinton Street in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Traffic Alert: Portage Boulevard to be closed for one month
Due to a City of Fort Wayne intersection realignment project, Portage Boulevard will be closed between Taylor Street and Hawthorne Road beginning September 2, 2025, and lasting for approximately one month.
Traffic Alert Update: Coldwater Road lane restriction 9/2/2025
Coldwater Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Tillwater Lane and Wallen Hills Drive, beginning Tuesday morning, September 2, 2025.

Beginning September 2, 2025, the Paulding Road Reconstruction project will require a full closure of Paulding Road between Hoagland Avenue and Noll Avenue.

Traffic Alert: Lane restriction on Harrison Street for window cleaning
Due to window cleaning August 27 - 29, 2025, the northbound travel lane on Harrison Street from West Superior Street to the south side of the bridge will be restricted with flagging as needed.
