The Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society's NKP 765 steam locomotive returns home this afternoon after pulling a series of Norfolk Southern Railway employee-only excursions.

This weekend, for the first time since 1993, the NKP 765 will be leading passenger excursions out of Fort Wayne to Lafayette Indiana.

On October 26th and 27th, thousands of passengers will depart Fort Wayne on a roundtrip excursion to Lafayette.
