Allen County Highway condition update: 8:30am
The Allen County Highway Department reports the following road conditions caused by high water.
Lane restrictions on US 24 scheduled for today are postponed
INDOT the schedule work on US 24 near SR 101 in eastern Allen County to install sensors in the roadway has been postponed.
Streets closed due to high water, pumps running
City Utility, Street Department and Flood Control staff members worked through the night combating flash flooding that hit the area due to more than 3 inches of rain that fell overnight.

Flood Warning until 9:45pm Friday
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for our area, effective until 9:45 pm Friday, April 19th.
FWCS: cancellation
All Fort Wayne Community Schools after-school activities, including Pre-K Orientation, are canceled because of the impending storm.
“Revealing Our Rivers” initiative postponed until May 4th
Due to high water conditions, the "Revealing Our Rivers" Initiative scheduled for Saturday, April 20 will be held on Saturday, May 4, 8 am - noon.
