On April 25th, 2025, the Fort Wayne Police Department conducted a directed patrol in reference to complaints the city has received regarding acts of lewdness in the parks.

On September 16, 2022, at 0913 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 2100 block of West Point Drive on the report of an adult male threatening to shoot himself and others.

Man sentenced to 420 months for drugs and weapons offenses
Detric L. Cummings, of Fort Wayne, was sentenced to 420 months after pleading guilty to drug and weapons offenses, and maintaining a drug involved premises.
