The Fort Wayne Fire and Police Departments restated today that they continue to be prepared to respond to emergencies, related and unrelated to COVID-19.

On May 4, 2020, at 1049 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1500 block of Windsor Woods Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On May 1, 2020, at 0523 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 500 block of East Rudisill Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On April 29, 2020, at 1852 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1200 block of West Oakdale Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On April 29, 2020, at 1807 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department was called to the Lowe’s at 4430 Illinois Road for a reported active shooter inside.
FWPD: Stabbing Investigation, 4500 block South Hanna Street
On April 23, 2020, at 0234 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 4500 block of South Hanna Street in reference to a stabbing.
FWPD Update: Murder Warrant Issued, Meyer Road and Oxford Street
A murder warrant has been issued for Sedrick Williams in connection with the shooting death of Marlon Kimbrough on January 7, 2020, of this year.
FWPD Update: Shooting Investigation Arrest, 3220 Diplomat Drive
The Fort Wayne Police Department has arrested Bryshawn D. Terry Sr., five felony counts in the shooting of four people at the Diplomat Apartments in the 3220 block of Diplomat Drive.

On April 24, 2020, at 2110 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the Diplomat Apartments in the 3220 block of Diplomat Drive after hearing numerous shots fired in the area.
