FWPD: Narcotics Blitz nets 13 arrests, 20 charges, and 3 arrest warrants served
The Fort Wayne Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Unit along with the Gang and Violent Crimes Unit conducted another blitz in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
FWPD Update: Homicide Investigation Arrest, 1400 block Greene Street
After investigating the August 8, 2022, homicide in the 1400 block of Greene Street, the FWPD Homicide Unit was able to identify the murderer as Michael D. Glover, 19 years-old.
FWPD: Fatal Vehicle Accident, I-69 mile marker 304.8
On August 7, 2025, at 0711 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to reports of a vehicle accident on I-69 southbound at the 304.8 mile marker.
FWPD: Death Investigation, Country Forest Drive
On August 7, 2025, at 0448 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the entrance of the Countryside Village Mobile Home Park at Country Forest Drive in reference to a passing motorist observing an unresponsive adult male in the roadway.
FWPD: Shooting Investigation, 2200 block Lakeridge Drive
On August 6, 2025, at 0159 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 7200 block of Lakeridge Drive.
FWPD: Homicide Investigation, 900 block Morrow Way
On August 3, 2025, at 1454 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 900 block of Morrow Way in reference to a reported shooting.
FWPD Update: More Dog Fighting Investigation Arrests
On August 1, 2025, the Fort Wayne Police Department arrested Newton Arnold and Trevel Bell on multiple charges relating to dog fighting and animal abuse.
FWPD: Search Warrant Service results in Dog Fighting Arrest
On July 29, 2025, at 1400 hours. the Fort Wayne Police Department served three search warrants at different locations that resulted in the arrest of a suspected dog-fighting suspect.

On July 26, 2025, at 1940 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 2300 block of Butler Road on the report of a single vehicle accident.
FWPD: Homicide Suspect Arrested, 2700 block Stardale Drive
Draylon Crutchfield was arrested by the Fort Wayne Police Department in connection with the stabbing death that occurred July 24, 2025, in the area of 2700 block of Stardale Drive.
