Funeral Procession Route:
From the church east on Jefferson to Broadway. South on Broadway to Rudisill. East on Rudisill to Lafayette. North on Lafayette to Berry. West on Berry to Fairfield. North on Fairfield to Main. West on Main to Lindenwood Cemetery.
The public should note that significant traffic delays can be expected during these services and in particular during the funeral procession.

On Monday, September 17, 2018:
Starting at 9:00 a.m. Jefferson Boulevard will be closed to all vehicular traffic from Main Street to Broadway. Motorists should make plans to utilize alternative routes if you normally navigate Jefferson Boulevard. Detours will be in place directing vehicular traffic around the area. We anticipate Jefferson to be closed until approximately 1:00 p.m.
Expect major delays for your morning commute on Monday. Residents living in this area should also anticipate delays in and out of the side streets.
The map below details the route for the funeral procession of FWPD Officer David Tinsley, who died In The Line of Duty this past Monday evening.
Please note that at the Rudisill Boulevard and Indiana Avenue intersection, the family and hearse will break off from the procession. They will journey past their home and then rejoin the procession at Rudisill Boulevard and Arlington Avenue intersection. Officials are asking the public to avoid the area and allow the family privacy.
At the Allen County Courthouse, the End of Watch call, or Signal 88, will be given for Officer Tinsley.
A Garrison Flag will be erected at Runnion Avenue and Main Street. Once erected, traffic will be diverted from the area and only the funeral procession and Officer Tinsley may pass under the flag.
Officials are encouraging the public to line the route in support of Officer Tinsley, his family, and fellow officers and first responders. Signs with supportive, respectful messages are also encouraged.
