Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Widespread frost (freeze?) tonight

(April 23, 2015) – Temperatures will warm somewhat today after a frosty start in parts of the area. Afternoon highs should reach the middle 40s in the NE to middle 50s in the SW. However, Northwest winds of 10 to 20 mph with a few higher gusts will make it feel a touch cooler. Clear skies and light winds will set the stage for even colder temperatures tonight as lows drop below freezing in most locations. Widespread frost is expected with those areas dropping below freezing for at least a few hours seeing an increased risk of a hard freeze. Sensitive plants and vegetation should be protected or if possible brought into a warmer area for tonight.
