An e-mail from Geoff Paddock, executive director of the Headwaters Park Alliance, which operates the Headwaters Park Ice Rink:
The Headwaters Park Ice Skating Rink 2010-2011 season that ended February 28, 2011. Our final number of skaters for the season stands at 24,071. This is our second best season, and we are very pleased, given the challenging weather conditions faced during the month of February.
Over the next few weeks, the rink will be dismantled and stored until next October. We plan to begin our ninth season in November, shortly before Thanksgiving. In the meantime, there are currently about 40 events scheduled for the 2011 spring and summer season in Headwaters Park, and the first event is scheduled for Saturday, March 12.
