Fort Wayne, Indiana (October 4, 2026) – A Fort Wayne Community Schools tradition is returning to the court. The FWCS Holiday Tournament will tip off once again this December, featuring boys and girls basketball teams from all five FWCS high schools. The two-day tournament will be held Tuesday, Dec. 22, and Wednesday, Dec. 23. The tournament was canceled in October 2020 because of COVID-19 concerns and has not been held since.
“We are excited to bring back the FWCS Holiday Tournament,” Superintendent Dr. Mark Daniel said. “It is an opportunity for our student-athletes to compete and for students, families, alumni and community members to come together and support our schools. We look forward to making this event part of the holiday season once again.”
The tournament will be played at two locations. South Side High School will host the first day of competition Dec. 22, with the tournament moving to North Side High School for the second day Dec. 23.
