Traffic on New Haven Avenue has shifted as crews prepare to work on a ground depression developing in the 5400 block on the north side of the road near an abandoned sewer line.

Traffic Alert: Traffic Shift on New Haven Avenue for Sewer Work
Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 18, 2026) – Traffic on New Haven Avenue has shifted as crews prepare to work on a ground depression developing in the 5400 block on the north side of the road near an abandoned sewer line. Digging will begin Saturday morning, September 19, to address the issue and restore the roadway.
Two-way traffic will be maintained by shifting vehicles to the south side of New Haven Avenue. The traffic restrictions are expected to remain in place through next Wednesday.
