Fort Wayne City Utilities’ Field Operations crews will repair a water main on Vance Avenue beginning September 15, 2026.

Traffic Alert: Vance Avenue to Close for Two Days

Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 14, 2026) – City Utilities’ Field Operations crews will repair a water main on Vance Avenue beginning at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 15.

The repair is expected to last for two days and will require Vance to be closed to through traffic in the two-block area between North Anthony Boulevard and Buena Vista Drive.

Access will be available only to residents living in this section of Vance.

Avenue. Eastbound and westbound traffic should use Glenwood Avenue between Buena Vista Drive and North Anthony Boulevard.
