More Music. More Access. Fort Wayne Philharmonic and Sweetwater Launch New Sound Pass
New initiative will provide $20 tickets for Masterworks and Pops concerts, helping make live orchestral music more accessible to the community.Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 10, 2026) — The Fort Wayne Philharmonic and Sweetwater are
partnering to make live music more accessible to more people across Northeast Indiana through the
new Sweetwater Sound Pass, an audience access initiative offering $20 tickets to select Fort Wayne
Philharmonic concerts. The partnership reflects a shared belief that experiencing live music should be accessible to everyone, regardless of budget. Through the Sweetwater Sound Pass, a minimum of 100 tickets priced at just $20 will be available for every Masterworks and Pops concert during the 2026–27 season, with additional tickets made available based on demand.
“Music has the power to bring people together, inspire us and create experiences that stay with us for a lifetime,” said Brittany Hall, President and CEO of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. “We want more people in our community to have the opportunity to experience the Philharmonic, and the Sweetwater Sound Pass helps remove one of the biggest barriers to attendance: the cost of a ticket. We are incredibly grateful to Sweetwater for helping us open our doors wider and invite more of our community into the concert hall.”
The $20 Sweetwater Sound Pass represents a significant reduction from the Philharmonic’s previous lowest ticket prices. Previously, the lowest available ticket was $33 for Masterworks concerts and $37 for Pops concerts. The new $20 price represents a 39% savings on Masterworks tickets and a 46% savings on Pops tickets.
Sweetwater’s partnership with the Philharmonic builds on the company’s long-standing commitment to supporting music and the Fort Wayne community.
“Sweetwater has been a longtime supporter of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, and we believe great live music should be something everyone in our community can experience, not a luxury,” said Mike Clem, Sweetwater CEO. “We’re proud to make these more affordable community tickets possible for northeast Indiana families and music lovers. It’s an honor to assist with making the incredible artistry of the Philharmonic more accessible throughout the 2026–27 season.”
The Sweetwater Sound Pass is part of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic’s broader commitment to audience
access and community engagement. By reducing the cost of attending concerts, the Philharmonic hopes
to welcome new audiences, introduce more people to orchestral music and create opportunities for
individuals and families who may not otherwise be able to attend.“We don’t want cost to be the reason someone decides they can’t experience the Philharmonic,” Hall said. “This is about making sure there is a place for everyone in our concert hall.”
Sweetwater Sound Pass tickets go on sale September 14 and will be available for all Masterworks and Pops concerts throughout the 2026–27 season, while supplies last.
