Traffic Alert: Lane restriction on Hillegas/Ardmore Road

On August 17, 2026, one lane of Hillegas/Ardmore Road will be closed for two blocks between Illinois Road and North Washington Road.

Traffic Alert: Lane Restriction on Hillegas/Ardmore Road
Restriction to Last into Early September

Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 16, 2026) – Tuesday morning, August 17, one lane of Hillegas/Ardmore Road will be closed for two blocks between Illinois Road and North Washington Road.

Crews are replacing a pipe that experienced multiple breaks last week. The pipe is not part of the recent water main project in the area.

Motorists traveling on Hillegas and Ardmore will still be able to turn east or west at Jefferson but should expect delays and may want to plan an alternate route for their commute.

The work is expected to take about three weeks.
