Traffic Alert: Brief Closure Expected Along Illinois Road for Restoration

Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 10, 2026) – Crews will complete pavement restoration following a water main break along Illinois Road on Monday, August 10.

Beginning at 12:30 p.m., Illinois Road will be closed in both directions between the Illinois Road/West Jefferson Boulevard split and Hillegas Road for about two hours.

Businesses near the intersection of West Jefferson Boulevard and Illinois Road will remain accessible from West Jefferson Boulevard.

The road is expected to open by 2:30 p.m. today.
