The Fort Wayne Dream Center Awarded $5,000 for Better Together Community Health Program
Fort Wayne, Indiana (July 10, 2026) — The Dream Center is pleased to announce it has received a $5,000 grant from the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation to support the Better Together: Empowering Individuals and Families to Choose Wellness program. This program is partially supported by a grant from the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation.
The Better Together program, offered once a month, kicked off in June. This program focuses on whole body wellness, including yoga, healthy eating, holistic healing, and more. Attendance has been great and continues to grow.
“The Dream Center is located in the midst of the southeast section of Fort Wayne. Most residents have been deprived access to education on healthy living, due to lack of transportation, income, and accessibility. We saw the need and decided to make it happen. This is done through grants and partners, like The Saint Joseph Community Health Foundation.” said John Dortch, Executive Director of the Dream Center.
Please join us for our next session on July 16, 2026, from 5:30-7:00 PM.
The St. Joseph Community Health Foundation is a sponsored ministry of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ that stewards resources to support compassionate, quality care for the most vulnerable in Allen County, Indiana.
