The Allen County Coroner has identified Carlos Roberto Torrijos as the 12th Allen County Homicide in 2026.
News release from the Allen County Coroner:
Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 1, 2026) – The autopsy has been completed, and notification has been made to the next of kin of the deceased individual that was found at the Shell Gas Station, at 211 East Rudisill Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, at about 00:23 hours, Saturday, May 30th, 2026. He has been positively identified as Carlos Roberto Torrijos, Male, Hispanic, age 22, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a shooting in the parking lot and found Carlos Roberto Torrijos unresponsive. Three Rivers Ambulance Authority pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Carlos Roberto Torrijos’s Cause of Death is Multiple Gunshot Wounds, and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Carlos Roberto Torrijos is the 14th Homicide for Fort Wayne and Allen County in 2026.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen Count Coroner’s Office.
