City offices to be closed in recognition of Juneteenth

The City of Fort Wayne’s offices will be closed on Friday, June 19 in recognition of Juneteenth.

News release from the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana:

City offices to be closed in recognition of Juneteenth

Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 12, 2026) – The City of Fort Wayne’s offices will be closed on Friday, June 19 in recognition of Juneteenth.

There will be no residential garbage or recycling collection on Friday. Friday’s garbage and recycling will be collected on Saturday.

The City will resume regular business hours on Monday, June 22, 2026.
