Statement from the Allen County Election Board on the tabulation of results for yesterday’s Primary Election.
Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 6, 2026) – Although the Primary election results are taking additional time, we anticipate releasing unofficial results after 12:00 PM based on current tabulation rates. Despite the results being delayed, poll workers and most importantly, voters praised the process and convenience of being able to vote at any Vote Center on Election Day.
As we prepare for the upcoming General Election in November, we will be working with our Election vendor to increase technical capabilities so that results can be compiled and distributed earlier. This election was a learning process for utilizing Vote Centers in Allen County. Overall, we will always place accuracy over speed when distributing results.
