On January 16, 2019, at 1748 hours, the FWPD Gang and Violent Crimes Unit executed a search warrant in the 4200 block of Plaza Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Suspect #1 Arrested: Kevieun Lewis, male 30 years-old

Details/Summary:
On 1-16-19 at approximately 1748 hours, the Gang & Violent Crimes Unit (using EST) executed a search warrant at 42– Plaza Dr. This was the result of an investigation regarding tips, surveillance, traffic stops, and complaints. It was discovered that 42– Plaza was a hangout and narcotics dealing location for the C’s criminal street gang. The C’s are a known, violent criminal gang.
During the execution of the warrant as EST approached, one suspect (Kevieun Lewis) jumped out a window and ran. He was apprehended shortly thereafter and found to have cocaine in his possession
At the conclusion of the search located inside the home Detectives located 3 handguns (one was stolen), 25 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of marijuana, and dealing paraphernalia. The above listed suspects were arrested for the listed charges. This is ongoing and additional arrests and charges may be pending.
