FWPD announces department promotions

The Fort Wayne Police Department will be promoting three officers to the merit rank of sergeant and a sergeant to the rank of captain on January 7, 2019.

Department Promotions

Fort Wayne, Indiana (January 4, 2019) – The Fort Wayne Police Department will be promoting three officers to the merit rank of sergeant and a sergeant to the rank of captain on Monday, January 7th at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers 300 E. Berry Street, Citizen’s Square Building.

  • Sergeant Juan Barrientes – Cmmissioned November 15, 1999
  • Officer Jeremy I. Webb – Commissioned May 27, 2005
  • Officer Christopher M. Felton – Commissioned October 26, 2007
  • Officer John C. Nichter – Commissioned August 27, 2010

The public and the media are encouraged to attend this ceremony.
