On November 11, 2019, at 0925 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1800 block of Cherokee Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 0925 hours
On Scene: 0928 hours
Under Control: 0935 hours
Upon arriva,l firefighters found a one-story home with smoke coming from the roof and a small working fire in the basement. Firefighters extinguished the fire while others searched the home to see if anyone was home. The fire was placed under control in 10 minutes.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
No injuries were reported and the fire remains under investigation.
