
On February 21, 2020, at approximately 1300 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department apprehended Cameron B. Hallett in connection with the February 19, 2020 homicide on Euclid Avenue.

Details/Summary:
Fort Wayne Police Department Homicide Division has made an arrest in the shooting death of Eric McDonnell. After exhaustive efforts by Homicide Detectives, they were able to identify a suspect. This afternoon, Gang and Narcotic Units made a traffic stop at Hanna and Lewis and took the suspect into custody without incident. He is being charged with Murder for the shooting death of 15 year old Eric McDonnell on February 19, 2020 in the 2800 block of Euclid Av. Currently, detectives are interviewing other persons of interest but at the time of this release there have been no charges. This investigation is ongoing. If additional arrests are made releases will go out.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
