The Allen County Coroner has ruled the beating death of a 17-month-old child on May 17, 2021, the 17th 2021 Allen County homicide.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office was contacted at about 1235 hours on Monday, May 17, 2021, in reference to a Fort Wayne Police investigation of a 17-month-old being transported from the 2700 block of Millbrook Drive to a local hospital in critical condition. Death was pronounced at the hospital a short time after arrival.
An autopsy has been completed and the next of kin has been notified of the death of Aiden Mishawn Clark, male black 17 months of age, from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Cause of Death is Blunt Force Injuries of the Chest and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Aiden Mishawn Clark is the 17th Homicide in Allen County for 2021.
This investigation continues to be investigated by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
