Today, Clothes For Joes announced that the Summit Legacy Foundation has committed up to $50,000 in matching funds for the organization’s Veteran Service Center capital campaign.

Community Gifts to Clothes For Joes Veteran Service Center to Be Doubled Through $50,000 Summit Legacy Match
Allen County-based foundation will match new donations dollar-for-dollar through Dec. 20Fort Wayne, Indiana (October 2, 2026) — Clothes For Joes announced today that the Summit Legacy Foundation has committed up to $50,000 in matching funds for the organization’s Veteran Service Center capital campaign. New gifts made between Oct. 2 and Dec. 20, 2026, will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000.
If the community raises $50,000 and the full match is secured, the campaign will be within $10,000 of its $250,000 goal.
Located at 2610 E. Washington Blvd., the Veteran Service Center will offer veterans expanded clothing options, access to showers and hygiene facilities, phone and mail services, and expanded resource navigation. The center will begin serving veterans with a soft opening Nov. 7, followed by a grand opening ceremony Wednesday, Nov. 11. More information about the grand opening will follow.
