“On this 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the Allen County Board of Commissioners pauses to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost and the countless others forever changed. We honor the courage of first responders, the resilience of survivors, and the unity that followed.
We remember the quiet acts of kindness and the determination that followed, qualities that are present in communities throughout Allen County. On this solemn anniversary, we reaffirm our commitment to the values of freedom, service, and neighbor helping neighbor. May the memory of that day continue to inspire us to build a more united and resilient community. May we never forget.”
