Memorial Park takes center stage in new documentary
Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 2, 2026) – This year, Memorial Park STEAM Middle School’s award-winning jazz band, Big Noise, will be the feature subject of a documentary exploring the role music and the arts can play in building confidence, connections and opportunity for young people. Documentary producer Robbie Shinder [9/11: Reclaiming Ground Zero (Amazon), The Basement Talks (PBS/Amazon), This Ordinary Thing (Apple TV), The Choice, Once Upon a Time in Queens (ESPN), In Her Element (BET) and Wrong Man (STARZ)] will spend time throughout the year at Memorial Park following students and educators to provide an intimate look at one school community while celebrating the impact of art
