Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 2, 2026) – On Monday, September 7, 2026, most Allen County Offices will close to observe Labor Day, and will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8th.
County offices that provide 24/7 functions do not close for holidays. Some of these include the Sheriff’s Department, Community Corrections, Allen County Juvenile Center, Youth Services Center, and the Highway Department. If you are unsure if a department is open, call ahead of your visit. County phone numbers are listed on the website at www.allencounty.in.gov.
