The Fort Wayne Police Department confirmed the police activity in the 7200 block of South Anthony Boulevard is related to an Allen County Coroner Death Investigation.

Media was inquiring regarding police activity in the 7200 block of S. Anthony Blvd. There is a death investigation being conducted by the Allen County Coroner’s Officer, however, at this time there appears to be no suspicious or signs of foul play. The Allen County Coroner’s officer has not requested any additional resources from the FWPD in regards to criminal investigators. Typically the PIO’s office does not release a statement on these type of cases but due to media asking I wanted to make a quick statement and will refer to the Coroner’s officer for additional information.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
