
A jury has found Stephen Bush guilty of multiple felony sex crimes following a three day jury trial in Allen Superior Court.

Stephen J. Bush Found Guilty of Multiple Felony Sex Crimes Following Jury Trial
Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 13, 2026) — A jury has found Stephen Bush guilty of multiple felony sex crimes following a three day jury trial in Allen Superior Court. Bush was originally charged on December 1, 2023.
After deliberating for less than two hours, the jury found Bush guilty of:
- Count I: Child Molesting, a Level 1 felony
- Count II: Child Molesting, a Level 1 felony
- Count III: Child Molesting, a Level 1 felony
- Count IV: Child Molesting, a Level 1 felony
- Count V: Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, a Level 4 felony
- Count VI: Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, a Level 5 felony
A Level 1 felony carries a sentencing range of 20 to 40 years. A Level 4 felony carries a sentencing range of 2 to 12 years, and a Level 5 felony carries a sentencing range of 1 to 6 years.
Sentencing is scheduled for September 9, 2026, before Judge Frances Gull.
Bush was tried in absentia. He was subsequently apprehended on his warrant and was present in court when the jury’s verdicts were read.
