Alive Community celebrates 2026 Peacemaker Graduation
Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 22, 2026) – Alive Community Outreach will celebrate the graduation of 60 students from its 2026 Peacemaker Academy on Friday, June 26 at 10 a.m. at North Side High School. The Peacemaker Academy is a nonviolent leadership development program for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors at North Side, Northrop, Snider, South Side and Wayne high schools.

WHERE: North Side High School Auditorium, 475 E. State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IndianaThis is the third year that all five FWCS high schools are participating in the Peacemaker Academy. The program began at South Side High School in 2020 with 12 graduates.
“We are incredibly proud of this year’s Peacemaker Academy graduates and the leadership they have demonstrated throughout the program,” said Angelo Mante, Executive Director of Alive Community Outreach. “These young people are not only learning how to resolve conflict peacefully—they are becoming ambassadors for nonviolence in their schools, families, and neighborhoods. Each graduate represents hope for a safer, more connected community, and we look forward to seeing the impact they will make as they continue building a culture of peace throughout Fort Wayne.”
Alive Community Outreach, founded in 2020, seeks to cultivate a community of nonviolence through relationships and education.
