Most County Offices CLOSE for Juneteenth
Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 15, 2026) – On Friday, June 19, 2026, most Allen County Offices will be closed to the public on this day of reflection and celebration in recognition of Juneteenth. They will reopen on Monday, June 22th, during normal business hours.
The Legislative Session of the Board of Commissioners will NOT meet on Friday, June 19, 2026. The next regularly scheduled meeting is Friday, June 26, 2026.
County offices that provide 24/7 functions do not close for holidays. Some of these include the Sheriff’s Department, Community Corrections, Allen County Juvenile Center, Youth Services Center, and the Highway Department. If you are unsure if a department is open, call ahead of your visit. County phone numbers are listed on the website at www.allencounty.in.gov.
