Concordia Lutheran High School Announces Move to ACAC
Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 8, 2026) — Concordia Lutheran High School announced today it has accepted an invitation to join the Allen County Athletic Conference (ACAC) beginning with the 2027-28 school year.
Following careful consideration by school leadership, the decision was made with a continued focus on providing student-athletes with a strong, well-rounded athletic experience while competing alongside schools of similar size.
“The Summit Athletic Conference (SAC) has been an outstanding home for Concordia athletics for many years,” school leaders said. “We are deeply grateful for the relationships, competition and experiences our student-athletes have enjoyed as members of the SAC. This decision was not made lightly, and we sincerely appreciate the history and tradition we have shared with fellow conference schools.”
Concordia will remain a committed member of the Summit Athletic Conference through the 2026-27 school year. School leaders emphasized the transition to the ACAC will allow Concordia to maintain many longstanding Fort Wayne-area rivalries through future nonconference competition while creating opportunities to build new relationships within the conference.
“We are thankful for the opportunity to become part of the ACAC and are excited about this new chapter in the history of Concordia athletics,” school leaders said. “This move aligns with our mission of developing student-athletes who compete with excellence, integrity and faith, and we look forward to contributing positively to the conference while continuing to serve our students and school community.”
