FWCS graduations celebrate Class of 2026
Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 28, 2026) – Fort Wayne Community Schools will celebrate commencement, Friday, May 29, and Saturday, May 30, for the 1,980 members of the Class of 2026.
As the Class of 2026 leaves their schools, they will embark on many different journeys. Some will continue their studies at universities and colleges including Indiana University, Purdue University, Notre Dame, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Dartmouth College and Northwestern University. Other graduates will join military service or complete technical training for careers in skilled trades like carpentry, masonry, plumbing, welding, automotive repair, cosmetology and more. These accomplished students will gather one last time at graduation ceremonies to celebrate their achievements before launching into their chosen pathways.
The five FWCS traditional high schools and the Fort Wayne Virtual Academy commencement ceremonies will be held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum at the following times:
- South Side High School – 4 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2026
- Northrop High School – 6:30 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2026
- Wayne High School – 10 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026
- North Side High School – 1 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026/li>
- Fort Wayne Virtual Academy – 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026, Coliseum Expo Center
- Snider High School – 4 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026
