Traffic Alert: Restrictions to Moeller/South Maplecrest begin today – 5/11/2026

Preliminary work on a water transmission line will begin at 7:30 a.m. May 11, 2026, near the intersection of South Maplecrest Road and Moeller Road.

Traffic Alert: Restrictions to Moeller/South Maplecrest Begin Monday
Temporary one lane traffic May 11 – 15, 2026

Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 10, 2026) – Preliminary work on a water transmission line will begin at 7:30 a.m. Monday, May 11, near the intersection of South Maplecrest Road and Moeller Road.

To maintain a safe work zone, the existing traffic signal will be turned off, and an automated flagging system will be in place each day from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Friday, May 15. Traffic will be restricted to one lane north and south on Maplecrest and one lane west on Moeller. The intersection will reopen during late afternoon and evening hours each day.

The restriction will allow crews to safely pinpoint the location of underground utilities before installing the new line. This preliminary work helps prevent damage, delays and service disruptions during construction.
